BC has had specialty licenses in support of veterans and provincial parks since 2017 and the provincial government would now like to gauge the interest in adding additional organizations with a survey open until January 31, 2024.
In conjunction with British Columbia Golf, our organization would like to see golf take advantage of this opportunity, with proceeds from specialty license plate purchases going to the sponsoring organization. In golf’s case, this funding would be utilized to encourage kids to get more physically active through golf and to promote the province as a destination for tourist golfers.
Golfers will also have the ability to personalize their BC Golf plates with a custom frame showing support of their home golf club or golf organization.
